What's it about?
How come certain organizational problems never seem to be solved? We’ve trained. We’ve re-engineered. We’ve coached. We’ve spent a lot of money and time on organizational advice, and still the same problems recur. So what can we do? Constellations Work and the approach of the acutely "present" professional demonstrate that essential solutions often lie within the deeper context of an organization. This dissertation researches the effectiveness of Constellations Work and its contribution to organizational science, consulting, decision-making and management. The work is rich in scientific variety offering case studies, qualitative and quantitative analyses, and reflections by organizational professionals. It should be an eye-opener for anyone interested in fundamental, long-term solutions. It should be an invitation for anyone to study organizations scientifically, selecting from the abundance of existing methodologies those that fit their own practice best.

What is Systemic Constellations Work?
"Systemic Constellations Work in Organizations" (SCW) or "Organisatie Opstellingen" (in Dutch) was the subject & the title of my Phd dissertation ISBN 9789051796223.
Here's an introduction about it.
"The difficulty in having people, who have not participated in a Systemic Constellation, know what a Constellation is, is similar to having people who have never moved into water, know what swimming is. A typical Constellation works like this. There is a facilitator, a client and several other people, called representatives, who know nothing about the client and his organization. The client mentions his issue, e.g. “my company misses drive. How can I create more drive?” The facilitator then asks a few questions - in general, very little in comparison with traditional consulting tasks - and he asks representatives to represent a member, an aggregate of organizational members or a symbol, e.g. the logistics department, our clients, our mission … The client then physically places those representatives in a room according to an inner hunch. The facilitator questions the representatives and often replaces them, until an image comes up or a dynamic is felt, which answers the client’s question. The constellation then ends. Sometimes a little discussion follows. In general, a constellation lasts 5 to 55 minutes, depending on the complexity of the solution and the demand of the moment. "
